Long Eaton Rugby Club have chosen PASIC as their charity of the 2020-2021 season.

We have chosen to support PASIC as they have supported one of our families in their child's fight against cancer. This local charity provide support and positivity at a time that is incredibly hard for all those affected by charity.

In the last 3 years, Long Eaton Rugby have raised over 35,000 for local charities.....we are proud of our success and keen to continue! 

We will be holding events at the club such as cake sales, sweet sales, sponsored fitness events and bikes rides.....please dig deep and support us in our goal!

PASIC provide emotional, social and practical support to families of children and young people with cancer living in the East Midlands to improve the quality of their lives.

We support the whole family and offer the means to build support networks and reduce isolation to help make a positive difference to families coping with childhood cancer. As a parent led charity, our experience working with families over the past 40 years means we understand the needs of our families and the difficulties they face.

• We fund a Family Support Workers at Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary. We offer support groups, information, advice and signposting to other sources of help.
• We give much needed social support and help reduce isolation. We organise days out, activities and events for all the family enabling them to spend quality time together and have fun!
• We give grants to parents caring for a child with cancer finding it hard to make ends meet at a very difficult time.

For many parents and children, we’re a social lifeline at what can be a traumatic and isolating time.
