Hi, I'm Lofty, 

A handsome black & tan Doberman and I'm only 5 years old and saved from a very sad life by ‘Lincs Doberman Rescue’. My new Daddy has fallen in love with me and he say's he's privileged to have been entrusted with my future care, well-being and my new forever home.

I'm not a well boy as I suffer from serious hip dysplasia (I heard the vet say on a scale of 7-8/10), so I will be on medication for the rest of my life. My lungs show trauma and appear older for my age on my x-ray. I've been so unlucky in the past and last week had a lump removed from my back left leg under
general anaesthetic (it cost the charity for that day alone £950! That's a lot of bones!). My Daddy is a little sad as my biopsy results have come back as cancerous and it was a soft tissue sarcoma that the nice vet removed. He said it's unlikely to
spread - but it may well return. So I’m applying for a Blue Badge!

But my Daddy say's he could not love me more and that every
dog deserves a chance in life and not many would be brave enough to take me on….

My past is heart breaking and I had a ride in a police car in November and ended up in the pound (those 'All Day Breakfasts' are rubbish!).
