Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society
Story
Hi :) Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Alzheimer's is a disese very close to my heart because my Nan has it. anyone who has met my nan will know that shes a cutie and lots of fun! shes cheeky aswell!! When she broke her ankle she kept going out despite the fact that she wasn't allowed so my dad confiscated all her left shoes - but guess what?? she went out in her slippers! Lots of people know her as nan rather than olive becasue she takes on the role! Its sad to see her getting more and more forgetful, but we have to try to stay posertive. Shes begining to forget who we are, asking my mum once if she was Gladys or Albert!! I wish I could do more to help her, but hopefully by doing this walk and raising some money I can help her and others like her. Thanks for you help in this!! It means so much to me!
