I am holding a 50th Birthday Fundraising Event on Saturday 12th July and would appreciate, rather than presents, a donation to the providers of such fantastic support after I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Power is knowledge and awareness of breast cancer symptoms is crucial for early detection and long term survival. Breast Cancer Care provide excellent resources to support awareness of symptoms and also during and after diagnosis. The Access at Ardgowan Hospice have provided excellent support in terms of counselling and therapy during my treatment and I'm sure will be there for me and my family long after as well.
