A Christmas Celebration 2020

Last year, I gathered the Whitehead Glee Club and local musicians together for the first time, to celebrate Christmas and all things festive and joyful, to raise money for Hope House Ireland.

This year will of course look different! I'm performing a selection of my favourite Christmas songs in a mini concert, live online on my Facebook page @lisadawsonmusic.

My chosen charity this year is Age NI, as I believe it's important to support the most vulnerable in our society at this time of the year. This has been a difficult year for everyone, but more so for the elderly community as they are the most at risk to suffering from isolation and loneliness, and many have not seen their loved ones in months, and are not able to be with their families this Christmas. Not to mention the elderly community are also most at risk of the coronavirus, and many have lived with fear and anxiety this year. 

Earlier this year, I sold downloads of my song 'Castle Walls', in aid of Age NI and together we raised £70.
