Alice, Catherine, Lisa, Sally and Susie are working towards taking either their first ever tap dance exam or returning to the exam room after too many years to count! We are all extremely nervous and are practising lots! The exam is on Sunday 15th May and will include dancing alone for the examiner. 

We are doing this which we all find very challenging and well out of our comfort zone to fundraise for Sobell House, the hospice at the Churchill in Oxford.  It cares for those terminally ill at the very end of their lives.

We've chosen this charity as it is where Tracey Harris died, just over a year ago. The team there made an incredibly difficult time a little easier by their wonderful care and support for her and her family and friends. Tracey learned to dance as an adult with us at the Kinecroft Academy of Dance in Wallingford.  Indeed she qualified as a RAD teacher during her illness.  So it seems appropriate to attempt a dance exam in her memory. She was tenacious too.

We are very grateful to have the willing support of our teacher,Virginia Chell from the Kinecroft Academy of Dance  who is patiently ensuring that we pass!
