On the 14th October 2023 Myself & Olivia will be climbing a Mountain!!! 

Snowdon!! I know this is going to be physically and mentally challenging. 

As most of you know I lost my beautiful mum last year.

For most of my life mum was sick. She didn’t let it stop her, nor hinder her life. She was so full of happiness and always smiled, laughed and loved a challenge. She is the driving force behind my decision to take the biggest physical challenge I have ever faced.

For most of my life my mum relied on a charity called PINNT to help her with her every day challenge. She became an Advocate for PINNT raising money for them. I want to continue her legacy and raise as much as I can for them too. I am forever indebted to PINNT and will never fully be able to repay them for their support and care they have gave my Mum.

Her Challenge being she could not survive without being tube fed. Mum had what is called a Parenteral Nutrition (PN) it is given via a dedicated catheter (CVC - central venous catheter) which is placed in a main vein. The tip of the catheter sits close to the heart.

In mum's honour PINNT have since created an award called The Tracy Hill Patient Champion Award.

Olivia & I would be so grateful for any donation, no matter the size as this will make the most amazing difference to this charity.

A little about PINNT

A support & advocacy group for people on Home Artificial Nutrition (HAN)

•    Patient support & advocacy: Their  aim is to offer support, empathy and contact to patients who require artificial nutrition at home.

•    Education: Showcasing life on HAN from the patients/carers/family perspective. Working to use this information to enhance services, thoughts and perceptions.

•    Information resource: Ability to work with professional bodies, manufacturers, policy makers, service providers to give insight to enhance and develop services, products and information.
