BUTTERCUPS is a great local charity who rely on donations from visitors and the general public, but whilst we are dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic they are unable to open for visitors, and have only 6 weeks of emergency funding left.

The goats of course still need to be fed, cared for and taken care of, many of which have special dietary and medical needs. It is the only goat welfare charity in the Uk

I first came across Buttercups through a volunteering day. At the time I was so excited to help out I hadn't really thought about the fact the goats would be roaming free, and well, I was actually a bit scared of them 😳 but after a day of food prep, cleaning the yard, and changing their bedding I was not only no longer scared, but in fact totally in love with all the little characters there! That's why I want to help raise money to allow all the staff and volunteers to continue helping out all the goats there, and hopefully more to come in the future.
