Story
I am raising money to go towards Ian and Roo's continued care. These little ones came into our program in Jan 2021 and have been battling eye issues ever since. We are trying to get them into to see the specialist soon and could use help with their upcoming (and previous) bills! They are a very special pair and deserve the best care so we can fix them up and find their forever home!
Second Chance Pet Adoptions, Raleigh's oldest no-kill rescue organization, has saved the lives of over 16,000 stray & abandoned cats & dogs. This organization is near & dear to my heart, and here's why...Second Chance rescues healthy & treatable homeless cats & dogs & finds forever homes for them. Before adoption, they vaccinate, microchip, & spay/neuter every animal in their program!Additionally, Second Chance places a special emphasis on heartworm-positive dogs. Heartworm disease is extremely prevalent in NC & too many heartworm-positive dogs are killed by this preventable disease, often because the price of treatment is simply too costly for folks to afford. Working with vets to procure this treatment at a discount, Second Chance makes a major impact on heartworm-positive pets.Rescue & adoption are a reaction to animal homelessness, but Second Chance proactively fights homelessness through funding low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for hundreds more animals/year!Can you help?
