Story
3 years ago Louisa Bailey, Principle of LJ Dance School in Hertfordshire saw Frankie jumping about at the local village hall and asked him if he would like to try a ballet class. He went along and loved it. Through her teaching and encouragement Frankie is not only learning to dance but his confidence and social skills have improved immensely.
This year, Frankie has successfully auditioned and gained a place to perform with London Children’s Ballet in their production of Anne of Green Gables in the West End. Over 500 talented young dancers auditioned and Frankie is one of only 51 that made it into the company, so this is a huge achievement.
London Children's Ballet is a performance company that inspires the pursuit of excellence and changes lives through dance. LCB's outreach work takes ballet into schools, care homes and special needs centres in and around London. LCB is a registered charity who's objectives include promoting the knowledge, education and experience of the art of ballet for children in Greater London, the Home Counties and South East.
London Children’s Ballet productions sell out year after year, so if you would like to support Frankie and have a wonderful day out for the family at the same time, make sure to book your tickets now at the Sadler’s Wells website for public performances and through LCB for our special première gala performance.
Alternatively we would be very grateful if you could donate and help support LCBs continued work.
