I am participating in a charity head shave on Friday 10^th
July in admiration and support of my very brave friends and work colleagues at
Sterling, who over the last couple of years have fought battles with cancer, and
for my lovely friend Lisa who in spite of receiving bad news two weeks ago that
she has stopped responding to a particular treatment, and having to start more
chemo, she remains so positive and upbeat. In her own words she had a good cry
then “pulled her big girl knickers up and is ready for the next part of the journey”.  It was her comments about losing her hair
again that has inspired me to lose mine as well, and hopefully to raise funds
for St Mary’s Hospice, a place close to both our hearts.  Most of us have been affected by cancer, I
lost my own son when he was only 26 and my close friend Jo had a very brave
battle two years and has kicked its butt!! I will be posting a video on Friday
10^th July of my head shave and ask you all to please please please donate.
