All the 'girls' in my family (me, 2 daughters and 4 grand-daughters) are participating in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life on 24 June in memory of my Mum who sadly passed away earlier this year as a result of pancreatic cancer.  The photo on the page is of Mum when she was happy and healthy and that is how she would wish everyone to be.

Cancer affects many of our lives with devastating results but the good news is that, thanks to the work of organisations like Cancer Research UK, survival rates are improving year-on-year.
