The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is the UK’s leading charity representing and supporting half a million adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children and young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), through our helpline, information services, research and campaigns.

Story

Around the age of 50 Jerry was diagnosed with Rheumatoid  Arthritis. This slow disease gradually worsened though out the next 15 years of his life, not only did it cause him excruciating pain but it also impacted his daily life, inhibiting him from doing all the things he enjoyed to do.

As his family, it was distressing to watch him in so much pain, knowing that there was little we could do to ease it for him. During the last year of his life the rheumatoid arthritis cause him to develop pulmonary fibrosis, which sadly took his life.

This page has been set up in memory of Jerry and we hope the money raised will help other sufferers.
