Update 17/01/2015:
Since setting up this page and this being a run more about a challenge for me and personal goals there has been some major news about the communities in Malawi that I was raising money for.
Last weeks saw flooding in Malawi that are the worst the country has faced in 50 years!! 48 people have been killed and 70,000 people have been displaced and are homeless.
Thank you so much to those that have already sponsored me, anyone that hasn't anything you can give to help support these communities would be greatly appreciated.

I have been on a crusade to lose weight for the last couple of years, finally I am approaching my target weight currently having lost over 8 stone and my fitness has improved more than I could ever have imagined.
This is a special year as I turn 40, hopefully I will have reached my target weight and the Reading Half Marathon is the last personal challenge that I want to acheive. Many of you will remember I did do the Reading Half last year but I got injured half way round and ended up hobbling around and shedding a few tears, so I need to try again and hopefully a bit more successfully!
I didn't intend to do this as a charity run but a few people have asked me so I thought I would set up a page if anyone wants to donate.
The One Foundation is a wonderful charity that most of you know is very close to my heart having spent time in Malawi visiting projects and meeting amazing people and beautiful children that appreciate any support we can give them no matter what, it makes you appreciate how lucky we are in life just to have access to clean water is a luxury for them yet something we take for granted.
So if you can spare a few pounds it would be hugely appreciated and will make a massive difference to peoples lives!!
