We all have been touched by cancer in some shape or form...we may have experienced cancer ourselves or we will have known or loved someone who has.

 

Cancer Focus NI provides support to those living through all types of cancer.  The organisation helped Kerry to re-habilitate after chemotherapy and I made a promise to her, in those days we shared before she died, that I would raise funds for this charity to enable them to continue helping and supporting those that needed them - so here I am.

 

Kerry leaves behind her husband Stephen and two beautiful daughters Olivia and Amy.

 

My own mother died of cancer 39 years ago, which caused unimaginable pain.

 

The more money we can raise through fundraising for this wonderful charity to support their research and well-being programmes the better...

 

…so please dig deep and know that your hard earned money is going to a very, very good cause - and don’t forget you will have the pleasure of knowing I will be pounding the pavements to ensure I make it the whole way around the London Marathon course to bring awareness for this wonderful charity.  No pain…no gain as they say!!
