We empower the most marginalised people to achieve lasting, positive change.

Story

Earlier this year I volunteered for 3 months with International Service in Burkina Faso as part of the government's ICS youth scheme.
I worked on a project to protect and promote the rights of disabled people.

Since returning to the UK, I've helped make it possible for two disabled athletes to compete at the London 2012 Paralympics.

We now need your help to enable other disabled athletes in Burkina Faso to get the right training and equipment so that they can compete on the international stage. Every penny will go towards the National Paralympic Committee of Burkina Faso so that these athletes can reach their potential and access future opportunities.

Please be as inspired as I am by their skill, tenacity and dedication http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/sep/04/paralympics-2012-burkina-faso-essex  Dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
