Story
Please join us on the night of Wednesday 22nd December for a special Christmas zoom concert in aid of the UK charity Music for All.
Note - The Zoom link for the concert (no password required) is:

The Zoom will be open from 7pm ready for the 7.30pm start. You can also join the Zoom by manually entering the meeting id 898 5923 9641
As with our 'Piano Day ' zoom concert in March 2021, this is a joint online event between all nine Let's Play The Piano groups: Birmingham, Cambridge, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and Sheffield.
With over 200 attending our Piano Day concert earlier in the year, I'm sure we can match this and raise a huge amount for Music For All who do a great deal of important work supporting community music and individual music education (further info below)
We have a fantastic programme of 17 live players from around the UK with quite a a few Christmas numbers included! The final programme and player biographies will be published in the days before the concert.
Attending the Zoom concert
We'll publish the Zoom details for the concert a few days before and also add them to this page. This will be a weblink without a password. Please contact organiser Ben Richards if you need any help accessing Zoom. We'll also record the concert for anyone who'd like to play back later.
The concert will start at 7.30pm, with the Zoom session open from 7pm. The concert will finish by 9.30pm and there'll be a short interval.
About Music for All
Website https://www.musicforall.org.uk/
Music is an essential part of the fabric of our lives. Making music can help break down cultural barriers and strengthen social unity. Making music can also play an important part in helping us find a balance in our busy lives, improving our wellbeing and helping us rediscover who we are through creative self-expression. The Music for All Charity knows that making music changes lives, and they believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play music.
• We donate instruments and music tuition to individuals who need our help.
• We make grants available to address the musical needs of community music
groups and educational organisations.
• We bring free of charge ‘Learn to Play’ experiences to people of all ages and
backgrounds.
• We promote the life-changing benefits of music making.
