I took up my role as Donor Relations Officer at the Development Trust in September 2018 and I have been able to learn more about cancer research through the impact of philanthropy. My team is hoping to smash their £4.5 million target for cancer research at the University of Aberdeen and I am keen to do my part to contribute to this.
With new research estimating that one in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime, the team and I need your support to help us discover better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat this terrible disease.
I am running in memory of my grandfather, Major John Hogg Jamieson who passed away from stomach cancer in 2015.
Please visit and share my page to keep updated with my progress and to see how close I am to my own target.
The run takes place on Saturday 27 April 2019.
Thank you.
