In 2017, President Trump had a revelation - our health care system is complicated.  We health policy and consumer advocates already knew that and with the Public Justice Center (PJC) as a partner we have worked to address  the  systemic inequities and social disparities (housing, education, etc.), that have become all too apparent in the current pandemic.   

But, PJC's agenda is much bigger than health care.  At the state and national level they use legal strategies and advocacy tools to pursue social justice, economic and race equity and fundamental human rights for those who struggle to secure their most basic needs.  Today, I am proud to serve on PJC's Board of Trustees and to celebrate my birthday with a donation to this terrific organization.
