“ My form at school, 84/LEM have decided to do a 50KM challenge this half term and into Easter to raise money for this year’s school charity, the Martin Gallier Project. As a Year 7 form they raised a significant amount of money through the year and this year we have decided to go for a different way of raising money
for this cause.
The boys are going to record their activities over the next few weeks to then get up to the 50K or beyond in the time they have to do it. I will verify each boys’ efforts. This could be done in many ways such as walking, cycling, running or whatever they can clock up! The deadline for completion is w/b April 25h which is the start of the new summer term. We will then collect in the money and donate to the Martin Gallier Project.
Obviously the 50KM is a challenge and any activity or contribution the boys make will be welcome and worthy of their efforts. I am hoping the boys will get a lot of fun out of what they are embarking on and also a lot of satisfaction in why they are doing it. Good luck boys!”
