Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I decided to set up this page as I made a pledge to donate 1% of my gross salary per year. I've been a bit behind this year so I'm hoping to have a fun fundraiser. I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and we don't know the gender. I'm willing to match the donation to Dementia research at Lancaster University up to £120 by giving small prizes to those who guess the gender right. This is not an official competition but a bit of fun between friends and family. Some of you may know that dementia runs in my family so it's all a bit close to home.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please consider offering gift aid if you're a UK taxpayer.
When you donate, state in the comment what your gender guess is. I'll collect all the right answers and be in touch after Leggy (the foetus) arrives with the results of the draw. A maximum of three £40 prizes are available to win - Dementia research will receive at least £120 in total from left over prize money (currently the donation is £150, whoop). Each entry is £2. i.e. donate £10 and I'll enter your name 5 times in the draw if all for the same gender and correct. In the comments when you donate state how many tickets you want for a girl and how many for a boy. Good luck.
