This will be my 2nd time completing the Great South Run in my home town of Pompey! A scary thought ! 

I hope to complete this event in better shape and with a personal desire to raise as much cold, hard cash as I can, for ‘Tickled Pink’, a charity my employer (Asda) and thousands of colleagues support and likewise me.

Personally,  this is in memory of both my Grandads who died due to different Cancers. Also, in loving support of my Nan, who currently has Breast Cancer. My hope, my Nan will be around to see me complete the 10 Miles, and make her proud. I feel this is one of a few positive things I can do.

Cancer is such a difficult thing to deal with at any level. Having this disease, or knowing someone close to you, a family member, a friend or even a friend of a friend. It is real, and we all know someone that has either suffered or died due to the many types of cancers there are.
