Story
Welcome to the 2023 and 13th Westie Walk for The Lullaby Trust.
From 1100 on Sunday 3rd September 2023 (TBC) WATCH THIS SPACE!
Initially , it was my dream to be able to do this walk not only in memory of my William, but for my darling Westie Oscar who inspired this walk in the first place. We initially set the target amount as £10,000.
We have a running total of way over that, so a new target has been set.
Our new target is £20,000
As many of you know, he went to Rainbow Bridge (to wait for me!) on January 28th and my heart got broken for the 2nd time. The 1st time of course was losing my baby boy. Bella has since joined Oscar and I cannot tell you how much I miss them both. :(
I am asking for £10 as a minimum donation paid directly to The Lullaby Trust via this page and I will link these details on both Facebook page and Southsea Westie Walk website. That money will go some way of helping parents who lose their babies during this uncertain time to have extra support due to the social distancing issue and what seems like the Country is total shut-down, . Imagine, losing your baby and not being able to have your family at the funeral to support you? Obviously, should you feel able to donate more, please feel free to do so.
If doing things online isn't your thing, we will of course be delighted to receive your money on the day! :)
Please join us, walk your gorgeous woofer(s) , proudly, with love and in memory of William Oscar and Bella. Send me a close up picture of your Westie(s) with their names and who you are, and I will be doing a WYW 2023 album for the Facebook page. I am going to share this with as many Westie Walk pages as I can.
Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now. THANK YOU XXXX
