Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page! In 2017, my little sister Phoebe was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumour at 10 years old. As you can imagine, this news shattered us all. My sister is my ultimate hero in so many ways. She is hilarious, fun, sassy and unbelievably kind. Not to mention, she is the bravest person I have ever, and will ever know... For the past 4 years she has battled, and sadly continues to battle, the most horrific journey and I really wanted to be able to do something to make her proud of me. I look up to her in every way! Therefore, I have decided to raise money for a charity extremely close to all our hearts.

When our Phebs was diagnosed, my family's life was turned upside down. My family were suddenly plunged into a life of hospital, filled with life-threatening surgeries and procedures. Not only this, but my Mum was forced to give up work in order to care for Phoebe full-time whilst she began Chemotherapy. Life had completely changed. Phoebe has suffered so much... This page isn’t long enough to tell you how much she has been through. She has lost her hair, had her school years taken away, and had her social life incredibly limited. The physical effects of her illness and treatment have at times, been impossible to live with. 

As you can imagine, like us, many families with a child fighting Cancer miss out on much needed family holidays and breaks away to make memories and have some fun. When going away, there are so many extra measures that need to be taken to ensure a sick child is well looked after. Lennox Charity has allowed our family and our closest friends to be able to have these memories. Free of charge, Lennox provides respite breaks so that families can provide their child with the memories they so dearly deserve. It really does make such a difference. Not only this, but Lennox provides financial support to help families cope with the financial pressures of caring for a sick child. They provide care grants in order to help with expenses such as travel costs to and from hospitals, specialist equipment and typical household bills. This provides a financial cushion to support families through a period of heartbreak and the ability to focus their attention on their child. 

I am absolutely DREADING this jump!!! I am taking part in jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet to show how grateful we are to Lennox for their invaluable support to my family. I want every family to be able to receive what we have, this is a cause extremely close to my heart! I also want to show Phebs that nobody ever regrets being brave. She's the bravest person I've ever known so hopefully she will give me some tips!
