Hi,

We started this fundraising page for Freddie George Riley’s special 1st Birthday and we are so overwhelmed but the support of family and friends that we would like to continue to raise funds for the wonderful Brompton Fountain.

There have been lots of dark times (too many) when we didn’t think Freddie was going to pull through. But Freddie has fought for his life through a total of 6 heart surgeries. Freddie has a fighting spirit and he gets this from his genes, I truly believe it is in his DNA to not give up and I made a promise to him that I would prove to him that his life would always be worth fighting for. 

The Brompton fountain do so much for the babies, children, and parents. The charity made a very difficult time bareable and that bit easier. They fund accommodation for parents which allow you to be close by to your baby through very touch and go moment. This is priceless. They also fund equipment and toys without which we wouldn’t have been able to take Freddie out of the hospital for walks and fresh air. It costs £6k for a heart monitor for the children’s ward and one has been purchased and engraved with Freddie’s name. - thanks to all of you!

We will also be hosting charity events throughout Freddie’s life and continue to use this page to keep a track of total funds raised.
