Story
After 9 wonderful years I had to have my beloved rabbit put to sleep, she was my friend, my companion and was by my side throughout secondary school, college and university. She was by my side through it all, and I am grateful for the time we had.
Every person that met her couldn't believe how funny and affectionate a bunny can be, saying she was a one in a million and not like any other rabbit they had met before. But the reality is although she was one in a million, it wasn't because she was so loving and funny unlike any other rabbit. But in truth, millions of rabbits are just as wonderful as Sniffles was, she was one in a million because she was mine and she saw me through the most significant years of my life.
Although there were things in Sniffles life I would have done different ultimately she was loved and had the space to stretch her legs and show the personality she had. Sadly, many rabbits do not get the opportunity to show how they can be just as loving as any dog or cat and instead sentenced to a life locked in a cage. RWAF is a charity that is trying to help rabbits no longer be seen as a pet you can pick up without any consideration and lock in a hutch with the expectation a child will want to care for them. Sniffles lived 9 years, and that is not uncommon for rabbits that are spayed/neutered, given vaccinations and given the space to be a rabbit.
In memory of the 9 incredible years we had I want to donate and spread awareness for others who met sniffles to donate to a cause trying to make it so every rabbit has the opportunity to live the life Sniffles did.
