Story
On the 17th January I am attempting to lift 71,000 kgs within 24 hours. The 71,000 kgs represents the amount of people that have died in England due to COVID 19
The charity I have chosen is Cavell Nurses Trust, we are all aware of the sacrifice being made by nursing staff currently during this crisis and the potential long term effects to their own lives. Having had two grandparents hospitalised with Covid 19 this is obviously very personal to me.
Cavell support nurses whether working or retired, with money and support when they are living through personal or financial hardship, often because of illness, domestic abuse, disability, working poverty and older age.Put simply, they are there for nurses when they need it.
The attempted plan is as follows
Back squat 100kg x 10 reps = 1000 kg x 11 sets =
11,000kg
Deadlift 100kg x 10 reps = 1000kg x 11 sets = 11,000 kg
Bench 90kg x 10 reps = 900 kg x 10 sets = 9,000 kg
Leg extension 50 kg x 30 reps = 1500 kg x 10 sets = 15,000 kg
Shoulder press 60 kg x 10 reps = 600 kg x 10 sets = 6,000 kg
Bicep hammer curls 10kg x 50 reps = 500 kg x 6 sets = 3000 kg
Bent over row 100 kg x 10 = 1000 kg x 10 sets = 10,000 kg
Tricep extension 10kg x 50 reps x 6 sets = 3000 kg
Chest flys 30kg x 20 reps = 600 kg x 5 sets =3000 kg
Total kgs = 71,000
