Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity for all children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and all those who support, love and care for them. They support families, professionals and services, including children’s hospices. Their work helps to ensure that children can get the best possible care, wherever and whenever they need it. The reason i have chosen this charity is because i am fortunate to be healthy enough to undertake this challenge of running a half marathon unlike many children and young people. 

Throughout the next year i will be training hard for the half marathon in May but also raising awareness of this charity by being a semi-finalist in Miss Teen Great Britain.
