Mark Kan was the most incredible husband, Dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin & best friend to many. 

He had an infectious spark that changed the world around him. Hence the nickname!

On the 20th August, we are honouring our Mark with a day to celebrate his life and the ever-lasting impact he made on all of us.

While this is a deeply saddening time, as a family we know many others are facing a diagnosis like Mark.

 DKMS provide the opportunity for a cure against blood cancer through their stem cell donation programme. It costs them £40 for every swab kit processed to test if someone is a match to become a donor. 

Our amazing Mark didn’t get a stem cell transplant but DKMS advocated for him and searched continuously for a match. Funding for DKMS can help other families get the chance that ours didn’t get.
