Story
Last year I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) and beforehand had never heard of the condition. IIH is a condition with an unknown cause or causes.
The condition is associated with raised fluid pressure around the brain and can cause disabling daily headaches and visual loss, which can be permanent.
I have just had surgery to try and correct the symptoms and would like to try raise awareness of the condition and raise money for the charity dedicated to researching causes and cures for it. I thought I would be getting my hair shaved during the operation but they opted for something else instead so I have decided I will brave the buzz and raise money instead.
