Hi all
On the 31st of October I'll be doing something I've always wanted to do but never imagined I could. Turns out I can, well I hope I can! Training for this marathon has been tough, but knowing that such a worthy cause will benefit from it has definitely helped rack up the mileage.
Running the streets of my hometown and passing by number 21 (with hopefully a family member or two outside to cheer me on!) is a huge motivation as well!
Unfortunately, most, if not all of us, have been affected by breast cancer but thanks to the amazing work by the Breast Cancer Campaign and all of the other cancer charities, the big C word isn't always the death sentence it once was. However, its still taking our loved ones from us and I for one want to do what I can to contribute on some level to finding a cure. Every penny helps so please give what you can, any amount will be appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and if you're in Dublin on Oct 31st, give us a cheer!
Thanks, Laura x
