Story
Whilst we were all worried about getting Corona Virus in 2020 my brother Dan was diagnosed with cancer. Having lost both our parents to cancer (our father aged 42 leaving our mum with 3 young children) it felt like history repeating itself and we were very concerned. After two operations in 2020, thankfully the doctors managed to remove the cancer. Everyone who knows Dan knows he's a fighter and as ever he's come back even stronger from this experience. He's set himself a goal to raise money for the Melanoma fund, to help fight cancer. He's going to lose 25% of his bodyweight training for and completing an Ironman - Coniston to Coniston. But he's not doing it alone. We are a team of fifteen childhood friends and family, now living all over the UK and Europe. We are training hard, juggling jobs and families, and preparing for what will be an awesome day bringing us all together for the first time in years, supporting him in every leg of his ironman challenge. And we are determined to raise as much money and awareness as possible to support the amazing work of Melanoma Fund.
Thank you so much for your support for this important charity.
