On the 10th November 2016 our beautiful daughter Ebony was diagnosed with Autism. I left that room a different person, armed with my sunglasses, a leaflet, and my happy unaware little girl. The leaflet I was given was the only information we were provided. We had no idea what we needed to do next or where to go for help or support. Over the next month the National Autistic Society helped us a lot. They told us about many different things we could do and places we could go. If it wasn’t for there help I’m not sure what we would have done and for that I’m forever great full. 

 We have no idea what the future holds for Ebony. So we intend to make it the best we can, and I know this charity will play a massive part in our lives for many years to come. If your one of the lucky ones that has had the pleasure of meeting Ebony, then I’m sure you will agree, she is just someone you can’t help but adore or forget. 

So to give something back to a charity that helped us as a family in those early dark days, and will continue to help us in the future.  I’m joining my crazy friend in doing the Wolf Run on the 8th April. I can’t run down the street, so to do a 10k obstacle course is totally crazy, and massively out of my comfort zone. So please if you know me, know my family or our amazing Ebony, then please dig deep for her crazy Mum, and help me raise some money for what I feel is a very worth while charity.
