Fundraising for Melanoma Patients Australia

Manchester, England Marathon signed up! Tomorrow is hopefully my second and last surgery with my recent diagnosis of a Melanoma. Mental health is a very important part of overall well-being. I’m greatly appreciative to have my career as a yoga teacher and all the benefits this brings to my mental health especially in a time of something like the last four weeks! So many emotions and things to work through mentally as well as physically. During these last four weeks I have spent a lot of time alone, accepting it, being with these emotions and learning how to move forward without anger, pity and sadness. There was however one phone call in all of this which stuck with me throughout from the charity Melanoma Patients Australia. I love that so much fund raising is continually carried out for any type of cancer into research, care and treatments. For me this one is precious as it helps Melanoma patients and specifically their mental health at any time on their journey.
So in true style of who I am (I like a challenge and to be pushed out of my comfort zone) I’m travelling overseas to my beautiful home city of Manchester, England to run a Marathon.... 🙏🏼
