As many of you know my dear friend Katy was cruelly taken away from us in 2019.  The Wisdom Hospice looked after Katy, and her loved ones, in her final weeks and I made a promise to myself to support the charity moving forward.  

With this in mind, I am hosting a Family Fun Day on 3rd July (details in the image above).  Please contact me to get your tickets and come and join us for a fun packed afternoon!

Friends of Wisdom Hospice have to raise £2,500 per day to support the Hospice.  Below are some figures which you might find helpful to understand where your donations will be used:
 
£5 - could help fund a hospice patient’s meals for 24 hours
£25 - could help fund an hour of care delivered by a one of our hospice specialist palliative care nurses
£50 - could help fund a counselling session for a patient or their loved one supporting them through a challenging time
£125 - could help fund a community nurse for a day. Did you know the community team support up to 400 patients in their own homes each and every day
