Story

I'm scared of sparklers, loud noises and have, on occasion, freaked out at the sight of my own shadow.

I'm 4 foot 11 and can barely reach most kitchen cupboards, let alone lift heavy items.

But on October 25 I'll be putting my body (and mind) to the limit as I take on Tough Mudder 2014. I'll be running through 12 miles of mud and SAS style assault course challenges, crawling through water filled trenches, running through electrified wires and hauling myself over giant walls.

In doing so I aim to raise £1,000 for Pseudomyxoma Survivor and increase awareness of this rare type of cancer.

Follow my highs and lows as I train for this huge challenge at toughlaura.tumblr.com and please, please, please donate.
