I have set up this fundraiser in hopes to raise money for the community based palliative care charity Life and Time. Life and Time are an end of life charity which supports the people of Warrenpoint, Burren and Rostrevor from their homes as well as recently expanding to Rathfriland, Mayobridge and Hilltown. The fact that these services can be delivered by a local person, who in many cases is known to the family, can be hugely reassuring for them in a time of need

In November 2021 we lost a very important woman in our lives, my aunt Jaqueline Morgan. While we as a family never had to avail of this charity it brought to our attention the importance to keep these services thriving in a time when people need them the most. Coming to terms with loss is a hard process that everyone will go through at some stage in their life and now with cancer effecting 1 in 2 people. For me, running felt like the best release. By no means am I a trained runner. I had gotten into running after a tough 2020 as did many others and have recently got back into it at the start of this year and thought I’d help raise some funds along the way

I plan to run/walk 5k a day in the month of may in remembrance of Jacqueline and to raise as much funds as possible for such a deserving charity.
