Gracie and I are hitting the pavement and walking for Bethany Christian Services, a nonprofit I proudly serve as a Board member.  

I stumbled across this amazing organization as a referral to help find them an office space.  Prior to helping them relocate in Charlotte I knew nothing of this organization or their amazing director, Terri Bowles.  After a few tours around town I found I was utterly amazed at what this small group did, and fell in love with Terri.  4 years later, I often leave our meetings humbled by the families that foster children with gladness in their hearts or adopt 4 kids so siblings can all stay together.  Stories of couples willing to take the baby with fetal alcohol syndrome, or adopt a Down’s Syndrome child from China.  I have found more often than not, these families are willing to jump in the difficult cases, and do so with joy.  

Bethany is a global nonprofit in more than 30 states and more than a dozen countries dedicated to helping families thrive. In North Carolina, core services include foster care, pregnancy counseling, adoption services, and family counseling.
