Get your tissues ready everyone 😞😢

This sweet little girl is 9 year old Polly and, tonight she is seriously tugging at our heart strings 😢

Prior to coming to us, Polly had been unwell and upon being checked by the vet, was diagnosed with diabetes.. The financial aspect of managing this in the long term meant that her owner simply could not keep her and, not knowing what to do, was considering having her put to sleep 😢 A concerned friend brought her to the attention of the angels at Rescue Aid For Animals who, in turn contacted us to see if we could help.

With time being of the essence, we needed to collect Polly quickly so we could get her the urgent treatment she needed.. One of our superb, and dedicated, transport ladies quickly agreed to get Polly first thing the following morning.

She arrived earlier today at her foster home, with her new foster mum whisking her off to the vet straight away..

We wish we could say that’s it, job done.... but we’re devastated to learn that Polly also has a mammary tumour 💔😭. At this stage, we don’t know the extent or what can be done, but we will do our absolute BEST for this girl and she will get everything she needs..
