Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will be the 11th renewal of the Luke Sewell Memorial Charity Golf Day.

We were devastated to have lost Luke to a tragic accident in 2014.  We had a trophy commissioned in his "golfing" image and yearly have had up to 80 players competing for the honour of holding the trophy for a year.  We have played the following courses:

2014 Mottram Hall

2015 Stockport

2016 Bramhall

2017 Hazel Grove

2018 Worsley

2019 Davenport

2020 Mottram Hall

2021 Vale Royal

2022 Cavendish

2023 Bramall Park

We will be be attending a new venue, Northenden Club on Friday 6th September 2024.

We are hoping for another great event with your fantastic support and look forward to seeing you all on the day.

Vision Beyond Autism-UK is totally committed to ensuring that children and young adults with autism and complex needs never have to go to institutional care for want of capable community support. Based on the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis, VBA provides an individualised service to enable young people with Autism to develop skills that promote a full and a normal life as possible. So we support children and young people into school, into college, into the work place and in the community. We are planning to provide good quality locally based supported living settings so that as adults they are never forced to live away from their home area, family, friends and a safe and decent life. We now need to start buying the right type of good quality homes. The first homes to accommodate up to for 4 young people with complex autism is expected to cost a minimum 500,000 fully fitted and we need to raise as much of this sum as possible to be sure that any loan on the property is manageable. Every donation will be greatly appreciated to enable us to reach this goal.
