Story
Hi my name's Lucy. My mummies call me Lucy Locket. They adopted me, with the help of Auntie Carolyne who runs Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland, when I was 14. I was in a bit of a state and did not like anyone at all, but thanks to my mummies and Auntie Carolyne I found out what it was like to be loved and cared for. I love my
mummies and my aunties and my friends and my wee sister and I love the vets and I love just about everybody. I am now almost 19 and a half years old and am not really keen on walks these days, but I am still enjoying life with my mummies. I heard them saying that I am getting a little bit confused but I haven’t a clue what that means. My mummy Tish took a photo and it got picked out of thousands of others and shown in an exhibition in London. She showed me it and it is a big
birdie! She says It is a Lanner Falcon having its dinner. I said you should do something for Auntie Carolyne and Lab Rescue and she said "Ok, wee girl I will!" She has had the picture put on a 16"x 20" canvas and everyone who sees it loves it, so she is gifting it, all signed and everything. What mummy wants her friends and family and everyone to do, is make a small donation to Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland through this Just Giving Page. Any amount you can spare will be welcome mummy says. When you make a donation leave a comment with your name. After 10 days Auntie Carolyne will be given a list of the names. She will be blindfolded and will pick a name at random. The person Carolyne picks will receive the picture on the canvas, as a gift from me as a thank you for helping Lab Rescue. I think it’s a great idea and hopefully mummy’s special photo will help Labrador
Retriever Rescue Scotland help other doggies like me.
Thank you everyone I must let mummy get on with this now cos it’s my dinner
time . Love Lucy.
