We Provide sustainable aid to thousands to Empower people out of poverty.

Story

Unlike previous Ramadhans, given the ongoing situation, the Donate Your Latte campaign felt like it needed replacing.

With the vast majority of us indoors and having given up our daily commutes and to support the Stay at Home message, the LFT has decided to re-brand, inshAllah, for one year only the DYL campaign to the Donate Your Commute.

We understand times are challenging for all but even the smallest donations can go a very long way to supporting those around the world most in need:

For example:

A single tube journey Zones 1-4: £2.80

- Could provide 3 days of food to a family in East Africa

A weekly commute of 50 miles in a car: £7

- Could provide two weeks of food in Ramadhan to a family in India

A monthly commute of 200 miles in a car: £28

- Would provide a basic monthly iftaar parcel to a family in East Africa
- Can provide training for Mothers and Widows as part of the LFT's Mothernomics programme (https://www.lftmothernomics.org/covid19support) to train them to prepare PPE equipment for Iraqi Hospitals
_ Would pay for one cataract operation

A weekly london underground Zones 1-4 pass: £51.90

Can provide training for Mothers and Widows as part of the LFT's Mothernomics programme (https://www.lftmothernomics.org/covid19support) to train them to prepare PPE equipment for Iraqi Hospitals
- Could sponsor an orphan for 2 months

A monthly London Underground Zones 1-4 pass: £199.30

- Would provide a family with a full iftaar parcel for the whole month of Ramadhan in Gaza and pay for one cataract operation
- Can provide training for Mothers and Widows as part of the LFT's Mothernomics programme (https://www.lftmothernomics.org/covid19support) to train them to prepare PPE equipment for Iraqi Hospitals
- Could sponsor an orphan for ^ months

In addition to your commute, you can of course add to your usual coffee donations and donating the cost of your daily breakfast and lunch for the month of Ramadhan.

Whatever we can do in this month will be multiplied many fold by Allah (s.w.t).

In keeping with the ethos of the Lady Fatemah Trust every penny donated will go directly to the Trust with 100% going to charitable causes.
