On Wednesday 11th December, Sarah, Chris, Rafe and Leah and their family devastatingly lost Lauren, their eldest daughter and sister after a serious and sudden illness. 

Lauren was a beautiful girl, full of laughter, who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Lauren was treated by staff, doctors nurses and specialists at Chorley, Royal Preston and Alder Hey hospitals. Alder Hey Children’s hospital is one of the best in the country and cares for over 330,000 children and young people and their families. Chris and Sarah recognised how they went over and above their roles, showing their job is more than just treating an illness.

In light of this, to help the hospital to be able to carry out more industry leading trials, they are asking people to donate to the Alder Hey Children’s Charity rather than buying flowers. Please support them in raising money, in remembrance of their beautiful angel, Lauren, who was taken too soon.
