On the 7th June 2023 our lives changed forever...

We welcome our daughter into the world,
Whilst accepting that our son was not meant to be in our lives.

We began to plan for her life and we began to cope with his loss.

We were simultaneously happier than ever,
and inconsolably sad.

We saw the future in her eyes,
and we mourned for what should have been for him.

That day we felt that the fates had aligned in our favour,
That day life had never been so cruel.

On the 7th of June we rejoiced,
On the 7th of June we burned with rage.

Words cannot express how it felt to say hello for the first time and goodbye for the last time.

That day was the best,
That day was the worst.

Minnie Mia-Mae was born
Kit Cooper sadly passed away.

Above is our prose, from the heart. We will never forget the day that we were handed a truly hateful cocktail of impossibly conflicting emotions to digest.

Over the last weeks with a tremendous amount of support from our family, friends and the amazing medical professionals that we have met.. we are getting through it one day at a time.

We would like to raise awareness of our situation in an effort to pay something back to all of the incredible individuals that choose to help destroyed people like us to move forward however they can. You guys are quite literally angels on earth and we cannot thank you enough.
