In 2015 I volunteered teaching in Kenya and went to New Hope Orphanage and Mogonjet school. It's been 4 years and I still think about the people I met, their stories have stayed in my heart. The trip inspired me to pursue medicine and one day I hope to return to both of these places as a Doctor and help in any way I can.

For my 21st birthday instead of presents I want to donate to Hand in Hand because I have seen firsthand the amazing things this charity does for people in Kenya. Places like New Hope Orphanage rely solely on charitable donations to keep running, there is no government support so all the money raised from this page will go to supporting the children.
