Thank you for your support! The money from Kirsty's and Melissa's fundraising will go to 'Don't Screen Us Out'
At a time when we think that everyone is equal, many parents who have been told their baby is going to have Down’s syndrome are given a list of medical issues or just not helped very much to understand it. Many people don’t realise that people with Down’s syndrome are happy with their lives and so are their families. Don’t Screen Us Out want the Government to make positive changes to health guidelines so that more people understand that.
Don’t Screen Us Out and DSRF Uk have both been speaking up for change.
DSRFUK have gained tremendious scientific data & knowledge in the last 20 years. We share all findings with parents & medical professionals so they are able to implement & integrate changes quickly into their child’s life. This research helps the parents, professionals & public to have a better understanding of T21 & the impact that nutrition & lifestyle can have on the wellbeing & quality of life through preventative measure.
