Story
On the 17th of December 2018 we went to Tameside Hospital and found out our darling baby girl had passed away.. We could no longer hear her “strong” “loud” heartbeat. She was 29 weeks and 3 days young. What we had to prepare for next is every parents worse nightmare come true. We had to prepare for birth. We were taken to a room called the “Harebell Suite”.. which is a suite within the hospital prepped for this exact nightmare... In the horrendous heartbreaking circumstances we were in a room designed with so much love, care & dignity. The ladies who looked after us, (a hugely special mention to Kay, Leanne & Melissa - Who delivered Penny-Leigh) made the unbearable almost bearable. The care we received was flawless. Penny-Leigh’s Daddy & Grandad are running the Manchester Run to raise as much funds as we can to give back to this special place, “The Harebell Suite - Fund (501), in the name of our Angel, So that the next unfortunate couple to be in this situation will receive even better love & care. Please please donate as little or as much as you can. You have no idea what a difference it will make. Thank you, With love, Kirsty-Leigh, Paul Barber junior, Paul Barber Senior & Little Penny-Leigh ❤️
