Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am a 38 year old transgender woman and was diagnosed with mouth and neck cancer in February 2014. As you can imagine this came as a total shock, however I have tried to remain positive throughout this traumatic ordeal. I successfully underwent surgery in March 2014 at St John's Hospital, Livingston to remove the tumour from my tongue and from the lymph nodes in my neck. The surgery was intensive, 13 hours in all and I would spend 2 weeks in hospital thereafter.
A couple of days after being discharged, I would go back to the hospital to find out the results of the pathology tests. I have since decided to
I do trust that you can donate, no matter how small as every penny matters.
I would like to thank you all in advance for your kind donations and together we can fight, and beat, cancer.
