Story
In June of 2013 whilst conducting security operations in Iraq, my vehicle was rolled over as a result of a blast. During the incident I lost my left arm below the elbow and sustained other serious injuries including reconstruction of my right ankle and having to learn how to walk again.
During my recovery I was put in contact with BLESMA, who have assisted no end in my ongoing rehabilitation. They even redecorated my house!
I am now looking to complete the 24 hour walk between the Lighthouse at Hunstanton and Pier at Cromer (47 miles), in October.
This worthy cause is helping service veterans cope with the ongoing challenges after their own self sacrifice for our county.
I look forward to your support.
Kindest regards
Kirk
