Story
Our story:
Our Year 8 Charity for 2020 is Brainwave, a wonderful local charity that helps children with disabilities to achieve greater independence by aiming to improve mobility, communication skills, and learning potential through a range of educational and physical therapies.
Every year, in the last week of term, our Year 8 pupils would normally raise money through planning and coordinating a fair, held on our top school field. This year, things are going to be a little bit different for obvious reasons.
Keen to mark their last few days at King’s Hall by doing something charitable, the children are going to hold a Virtual Fair, which will incorporate video recordings of themselves undertaking activities and challenges while in lockdown. These taped activities will be shown to pupils via Teams and we’re sure they will have some fun predicting the outcomes.
